Our receivers are a key contributor to our success.
A strong receiver is attentive to details, a strong communicator, has great problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and the ability to make decisions independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate with sales people and vendors to ensure all product is shipped and received correctly Receive all shipments in a timely manner Coordinate with store manager and yard foreman to ensure product is on the shelves and in the warehouse in a timely manner Identify, document and communicate any discrepancies in packing slips, purchase orders or deliveries Ensure all received special orders are properly tagged and stored in a safe place Maintain an organized and clean receiving area Candidate Requirements:
Solid organizational skills and high level of attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Strong belief in our core values:
